Established in 1989, this Cairns based family operated company specialising in four wheel drive tours is owned and operated locally. Throughout the years, we have gained a wealth of experience travelling and working in the remote and fascinating outback.

Fitness and Special Needs

Your comfort is high on our priority list. Our vehicles are modified to handle the conditions and rugged terrain of the less accessible Outback Australia.

All our tours require a moderate level of fitness, as some of the walks are on uneven and rocky surfaces. You will need to be able to carry your own bag and be able to embark and disembark the tour vehicle several times a day unaided.

Heritage Tours caters for passengers with dietary requirements. Due to the remote areas we travel to, we would like to ask that your dietary requirements are realistic and limited to medical conditions or dedicated choice such as vegetarian or coeliac etc,  not simply personal preferences.
