Tour Guide – Extended Tours CAPE YORK
Heritage 4WD specializes in extended tours to Cape York and the Gulf Savannah.
Our team works hard providing travel experiences for our clients that are world class. If this sounds good to you, then you should consider joining our team.
Tourism is not a “9 to 5” industry. Working for extended periods on different rosters is normal. A guide will work 10-14 hours per day and will spend their spare time researching to build their own destination knowledge.
Customer service and safety is the central focus of any role with Heritage Tours and the majority of your time will be spent away from your home.
All tour staff must have a current First Aid certificate. Tour guides must have a clean, current Queensland Medium Rigid vehicle licence, or the ability to obtain one, along with the mandatory driver authorization. 4WD and mechanical aptitude, good people skills and be a team player. Previous experience an advantage, as is knowledge of rainforest, Savannah, flora, fauna and history of Cape York and the Gulf.
